My Story
Hi! I'm Elizabeth. The heart behind Roots & Rascals.
A loving wife to my Railroader, and mother of five.
What started as a simple idea has grown into something so much bigger than I could have imagined. As a mom of five, life is busy, loud, and beautifully chaotic - and somewhere in the middle of that, this little boutique was built.
Roots & Rascals was created with intention: to offer families a place where style meets affordability. Where shopping small truly feels personal. From Brand New to Gently Loved pieces. Everything here was chosen with care - because I know firsthand how quickly little ones grow.
This business has been built in the in-between moments -after bedtime, between school runs, and alongside motherhood. It's taken hard work, resilience, and a whole lot of heart.
Being embraced by this community the way we have is something I'll never take for granted. Every visit, every share, every kind word - it all means more than you know.

We offer a wide range of clothing for babies, children up to teens! From newborns to 14 years old. We offer new Items from numerous clothing companies. Big and Small. We buy your gently used clothing, footwear, equipment and more. Our collection includes onesies, rompers, dresses, pants, jackets, and more. Now accepting and selling Maternity Items.
Our Team
Roots & Rascals is a one woman show.
But on the rare occasion you may see a child or my husband holding down the fort. He's a hardworking railroader who swaps steel-toe boots for retail shifts every now and then...and while he may not know the different between 3-6 months and 6-9 months at first glace, he'll do his best to help you out.
So if you see him behind the counter, just know I trust him...and you should too ( with a little patience ;) )
